Estar uma Árvore
Performance-Installation “ESTAR UMA ÁRVORE” (work in process), conceived, directed and performed by Thaís Medeiros, inspired by a text by Shirley Krenak and her culture. It was presented at Forecast Forum 7 - Audacious Minds, mentored by Florentina Holzinger, “Bodies in Action” - July 2022 in Berlin, Germany.
Thaís Medeiros' project was selected from over 180 proposals from artists all over the world.
The performance currently focuses on exploring the words “Forest” and “Territory”, as well as poems and personal experiences related to the same theme. It is a scenic experience that seeks to create a dialogue and interweave the poetics of theater with the visual arts.
